Lux Air Services installed a new split-system Mitsubishi air conditioner, one larger external unit to service 2 separate interior units & they installed 3 new ceiling fans. The company was excellent on every level. Brock visited for a free-quote, he impressed me by the depth of knowledge and his honesty. I had conducted a lot of online research and recognised that Brock’s recommendations were spot-on. He advised to get ceiling fans in my 1970’s apartment & the results are fantastic (forgive the pun), the air now circulates through my apartment and there was no need for a third interior unit. Georgie in the office was extremely well organised when the project was underway & went out of her way to ensure everything was clearly communicated and planned. The three electricians (including Brock who had assessed my apartment for the quote) turned up on time and were friendly, respectful & professional. The work was completed perfectly & the new exterior Mitsubishi air con is SO QUIET when running at maximum. I would recommend Lux Air Services to my family & friends without any hesitation. Air conditioning & ceiling fans are not cheap, but Lux were several thousand cheaper than another well-rated company who also quoted this job. I appreciated Brock’s technical expertise when assessing the old switchboard in my apartment building, it is possible to install systems that can trip the power and the way the fans and air con are wired means this will not happen. A less experienced contractor might make this type of error. With the increasing heat of summers I believe it’s important to have adequate air conditioning and fans to ensure a good nights sleep & avoid the exhausted feeling that Brisbane’s hot humid summers can cause.
